Metal Gauge refers to the thickness of metal used in your EZCarports carport. Lower Gauge results in stronger metal. Trim, roofing and siding use a standard gauge metal. Tubing and legs are 14 Gauge.
Certified
– All structures at EZCAPORTS.COM are certified engineer designed to verify they meet or exceed snow and wind load standards for most localities. All certified structures include drawings and additional installation services.
Anchoring Options
- Rebar, Lag Bolts, Concrete Screws and optional Auger Anchors are all available for certified structures. Auger Anchors (or mobile home anchors) are included in all certified installations. If a certified structure is not purchased, you will be required to purchase four Auger Anchors on buildings with exactly three sides enclosed.
Legs/ Tubing
– are the individual components of the metal structure of your EZCARPORTS.COM carport. There are two different metal gauges for each.
Types of A-Frames -
Regular, Traditional A-Frame and Vertical A-Frame are the different options of roofline at EZCARPORTS.COM. Structures 32’ or more require the Vertical A-Frame option.
Double-Galvanized Steel Frames
– EZCARPORTS.COM offers 2 ½” square leg tubing (14 Gauge galvanized steel).
Siding and Roof Material
– We use 9 Gauge galvanized sheet metal roof and sides with baked enamel finish in multiple color options.
Optional Doors and Windows
–
EZCARPORTS.COM offers roll-up garage doors in two sizes, walk-In doors, and windows. All doors will be white and include trim color matched to your selection.
Eave Height - The length from the surface of your foundation to the top of the roof at the eave. Eave height is also referred to as the sidewall height.
Peak Height
- The length from the surface of your foundation to the highest point of the roof, the peak of the carport roof.
